DICE BEAD, is #8 in our series, but it is the first machined bead! This bead is machined from 3 alloy Mokume (copper, brass, nickel). The black “pips” are Silicon Nitride Ceramic (Si₃N₄) balls that have been permanently press into the dice. The balls protrude slightly to give a textured feel to the surfaces and also help protect the metal from scratches.
